Privacy Policy

Forecheck is operated by Pragmatic Developments Inc. and helps recreational sports communities coordinate teams, player pools, schedules, attendance, communication, and team finances. This policy explains the information we handle and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account and contact information: name, email address, optional phone number, user identifier, authentication information, and Sign in with Apple identifiers.
  • Team and roster information: organizations, memberships, roles, jersey and position details, availability, attendance, lineups, statistics, waivers, event participation, and optional profile details such as gender, registration number, jersey size, handedness, and team-duty preferences.
  • Private sports network: connection requests, accepted Forecheck connections, user-created hockey circles, and invitation preferences. Forecheck does not read or upload your device address book.
  • Game-day readiness: when a team enables the pre-event review, Forecheck stores only that you completed it and when. Forecheck does not ask for or store symptoms, exposure, medical details, or a free-form readiness note.
  • Content you provide: chat messages, announcements, polls, event notes, support messages, and files or images you choose to share.
  • Safety information: reports you submit, the content and account involved, report details, blocking relationships, and moderation actions needed to protect people and the service.
  • Team financial records: dues, fees, payment status, amounts, and manager-entered payment notes. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Forecheck.
  • Device and service information: push-notification tokens, app version, device platform, time zone used to apply your notification quiet hours, and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service. Reliability diagnostics are kept for up to 30 days and are not used to measure feature adoption.
  • Player access and family profiles: an adult or teen access category, eligibility status, and confirmation time. For teen access we store the guardian email, linked guardian account, approval, and any withdrawal. Parents may add an under-13 child’s preferred name, optional jersey number, league, and availability. Children do not provide information directly or receive logins. We do not request a birth date.
  • Open Ice matching preferences: a public hockey name, preferred hockey area, travel range, positions, skill band, and game formats. Open Ice uses the account-wide adult confirmation to enforce adult-only discovery. The preferred area is a user-entered rink-area preference, not a home address or device location; Forecheck does not collect coordinates.

Subscription records

For optional Pro plans we store the team, purchaser account reference, trial dates, payment-provider purchase identifier, subscription status, and access expiry. These records let us verify purchases, restore access, prevent duplicate billing, and handle renewals or refunds. They are not visible to ordinary players. Card details remain with the payment provider.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, provide team and league features, synchronize data across devices, send requested operational notifications, process team payments, verify team Pro subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent abuse, protect accounts, and improve reliability.

Forecheck does not retain analytics events about app opens, taps, navigation, feature adoption, or Forecheck IQ use. Actions such as an RSVP, lineup edit, connection, or message are stored only when they are part of the feature you asked Forecheck to provide. Separate manager, moderation, and account-security audit records are used only to operate and protect the service, not for product analytics.

Forecheck does not sell personal information, use personal information for cross-app advertising, or track people across unrelated apps and websites.

Forecheck IQ and AI processing

Cloud assistance is optional and enabled separately for each private IQ conversation. When enabled, your question and authorized team information needed to respond are processed through Cloudflare AI Gateway using a model configured for zero data retention. Gateway prompt logging and response caching are disabled. This inference policy is separate from the private history Forecheck stores below. IQ cannot approve its own changes: you review the people, amounts and actions before they are submitted through your current Forecheck permissions.

Your private conversation, attached document text and action receipts are stored in Forecheck to support follow-up requests and recovery. They are not published in team chat. You can turn off cloud assistance for a conversation; this stops further AI processing but does not delete its existing history. Account deletion includes private IQ history under the deletion process described below.

Supported Apple devices can also use on-device models for features such as free operational IQ and drafting event details. Prompts in Apple mode are processed on the device. Authorized team reads, review cards and private history still use Forecheck’s server; choosing Apple mode does not enable cloud inference. On-device model processing does not send those prompts to our cloud AI provider.

Service providers and sharing

We share only the information required to run Forecheck with service providers such as Supabase for database, authentication, file storage, and realtime synchronization; Apple and Google for sign-in, app distribution, push notifications, and platform services; Firebase for Android push delivery; Twilio for requested SMS team notifications; our configured contracted email-delivery provider for requested team email; Stripe for hosted team payments and web subscriptions; and Apple or Google for subscriptions purchased through their stores where enabled. These processors receive only what is needed to deliver the requested service and may use it only under our service-provider instructions. Team information is also visible to other members and managers according to role and privacy settings.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to equivalent privacy protections.

Retention, security, and deletion

We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. These shorter limits apply to specific operational records:

  • Reliability diagnostics: kept for up to 30 days, then deleted.
  • Routine application backups: backup directories older than 14 days are automatically pruned. Data removed from the live service may remain in a restricted backup only until that backup is pruned; backups are not used to return a deleted account to the live service.
  • Account-deletion records: after completion, the protected server-side deletion-receipt record and its pseudonymous outcome audit are retained for 90 days so Forecheck can safely recognize a retry and verify the outcome, then purged. A failed deletion audit is also kept for 90 days. An unfinished job remains only while its verified cleanup must still be completed.
  • Moderation and safety evidence: reports, moderation audit records, and quarantined evidence are ordinarily kept for up to 365 days from creation or quarantine, then purged. A specific record may be held longer only for a documented litigation, law-enforcement, regulatory, or child-safety need, and never beyond seven years from the original record date.

Certain shared team financial and accounting records—such as payment or expense amounts, status, and transaction provenance—may remain after account deletion when other team members rely on them or for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, or other law. Forecheck removes the deleted person's direct account identifiers and related free-text notes from those records and retains only pseudonymous attribution where needed. This retained history is not used to recreate a deleted profile.

We use access controls, encrypted transport, row-level database security, and platform security features to protect information.

You can initiate permanent account deletion in Forecheck on iPhone, iPad, Android, or Mac under Account → Delete account, on the web account page, or at pragmatic.onl/forecheck/account-deletion. Forecheck removes account access and live personal data as soon as a verified deletion succeeds. We delete or de-identify associated personal data unless limited retention is legally required. Shared team records that other members depend on may remain without your personal profile. For Sign in with Apple, Forecheck stores the Apple revocation credential encrypted and server-only while your account is connected, then revokes the authorization and deletes the credential during account deletion. A manual Apple Account fallback appears only when Apple no longer provides a valid credential to revoke.

Your choices

You can update profile information in the app, control notifications in system settings, leave a team, request access or correction, block other users, report abusive content, and delete your account. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.

Young players, parents, and international use

Players aged 13–17 need guardian approval before entering a league. Their access excludes public player discovery and direct messages. Guardians can withdraw approval through the guardian page, which pauses player access. Accounts for children under 13 are not offered. Parents manage separate child roster profiles through their own accounts; those profiles are visible only to the parent and that league’s managers. Parents can remove each profile and its availability from My family. Deleting the parent account also removes its child profiles.

We do not collect birth dates or child email addresses for these profiles, and we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Information may be processed where our service providers operate, subject to contractual and legal protections.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as Forecheck evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email when appropriate. Last updated September 13, 2026.
