Tonarr / Support

A direct line to your library.

Tonarr is designed for private media servers and native Apple and Android playback. These checks solve the most common connection and playback issues.

Connect a library

Open Settings → Music Server, choose Plex, Jellyfin, or OpenSubsonic/Navidrome, and use the secure sign-in flow. For a remote server, use an HTTPS address. For a server at home, allow local-network access when the system asks.

Playback and downloads

Confirm the selected account can play the item in the server’s own app. If playback fails away from home, verify the server’s remote route or HTTPS reverse proxy. Downloads require free storage and follow your Wi-Fi/cellular policy.

Device Harmony

On Apple devices, use the same Apple ID with iCloud Drive and Keychain enabled. On Android, create or restore the encrypted continuity domain using your owner-hosted relay and recovery key. Never send a recovery key to support.

Accessibility

Tonarr supports system text sizing, screen readers, keyboard and remote navigation, reduced motion, and platform media controls. Tell us the device model, OS version, screen, and assistive technology if something is not working.
