Cinemarr / Support

Bring the lights down.

Cinemarr combines Seerr discovery and requests with direct playback from your own Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby library.

Connect your services

Connect Seerr for discovery, requests, and watchlists. Then add at least one Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby server for playable originals. Prefer the secure provider sign-in or Quick Connect flow; advanced token entry is intended for unusual reverse-proxy setups.

Playback

Confirm the title plays in the media server’s own app and that the connected user has library access. Cinemarr selects Direct Play, remux, local decode, or server conversion from the actual source and device capabilities. A failed conversion may require enabling transcoding on your server.

Requests and alerts

Request limits and approvals come from Seerr. For native alerts, configure an owner-hosted CinemaRelay, enable alerts in Cinemarr, and grant notification permission. Cinemarr’s durable inbox remains available even if native alerts are disabled.

Accessibility

Cinemarr supports system text sizing, screen readers, keyboard and remote navigation, reduced motion, captions and subtitle styling, and native media controls. Include the title, screen, device/OS, and assistive technology when reporting a problem.
